About LawCru

LawCru's mission is to help UK and US law firms access high-quality, affordable remote legal support by providing experienced paralegals and intake professionals based in South Africa and Latin America.

The business was founded by brothers Laurence Searle and Joshua Searle.

Laurence is a lawyer and understands first-hand the operational pressures facing modern law firms — rising costs, increasing workloads and the growing demand for flexible legal support.

Joshua is an entrepreneur and Co-Founder of RooCruit, LawCru's sister company, which provides offshore marketing and operational staff.

Together, Laurence and Joshua created LawCru with a mission to bridge the gap between high-quality legal talent and modern remote staffing solutions.

Giving Back

Impact beyond the workplace

We are proud to support The Africa Trust, a charity co-founded by Laurence and Joshua's father, Paul Searle. The charity is focused on sustainable poverty reduction, education and entrepreneurship.

The video highlights a visit to Malawi attended by Joshua and Laurence, where they had the opportunity to see first-hand some of the entrepreneurial projects being implemented through the charity's work and the impact these initiatives are having within local communities.
